Jason Thurston Jr. started The Golf Boy at age 11 from his home in Northport. Now 16, he designs every t-shirt, hoodie, hat, and accessory himself, having grown up playing golf since age 5. The lineup expanded beyond golf to cover skating, soccer, basketball, and baseball, appealing to junior athletes who want something different from team-logo gear. Beyond apparel, he builds 3D golf courses for the GSPro simulator and has written and illustrated children's books available on Amazon. The whole operation is an ongoing experiment in creativity, sport, and small-scale entrepreneurship.
