Heritage Tackle & Gear is an independent outdoor gear maker based in the Highlands region of Maine. The Eddington workshop hand-builds traditional ice fishing tip-ups from quality white ash, with stainless trip levers, brass hardware, and grease-filled copper tubes built to last for generations. Now run by Jeff and Tracey Gideon — Tracey took over from her parents Rodney and Debbie Buswell in 2021 — the small family operation produces models from the 20-inch Lil Laker to the 45-inch Ice Bear Classic.
